Grief as Beloved South African DJ Killed in the Heart of Johannesburg.
A renowned South African radio and club DJ has been fatally gunned down in the metropolis of Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a country struggling with rampant crime.
Warrick Stock, who went by the name DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the central business district on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Police said the forty-year-old media personality was accosted by three individuals, with one shot at him before fleeing on foot.

Law enforcement indicated that Stock was ambushed as he was leaving a building in the vicinity of the city center landmark.

The DJ sought to escape after he was hit but collapsed on the opposite side of the road.
Officials noted that Stock had an weapon on his person and no items were stolen during the attack.
