Six Suspects Apprehended After €12M Armed Raid on Gold Refining Lab in the French Republic

Six armed perpetrators carrying high-powered firearms detonated charges to breach the security of a gold refining laboratory located in the city of Lyon, resulting in minor injuries to five staff members during what appears to be the most recent prominent daytime heist to hit France.

The daring raid took place on Thursday afternoon, with officers swiftly apprehending the suspected perpetrators and retrieving the loot estimated to be worth €12 million (10.5 million pounds), as stated by authorities.

Five workers of the precious metals facility were slightly hurt from the blast, and three of them required hospital checks for examination, the regional prefecture announced. Twenty-eight workers were inside the facility when the thieves struck.
